Niemeyer II white airmchair– Modern Design Inspired by Brazilian Architecture
The Niemeyer II white airmchair is a tribute to Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, whose work shaped architectural history through sculptural and poetic forms. From the first glance, this armchair reflects fluid lines and creative freedom.
Moreover, its rounded shapes are inspired by the iconic Casa das Canoas, designed by Niemeyer in 1951. The flat roof of the house is reinterpreted in the curved seat, creating a sense of continuity and balance. At the same time, the backward movement of the architectural curve is recreated through the precise placement of the upholstery seams.
In addition, the meticulous upholstery work enhances both comfort and visual flow. The seams run smoothly around the arms, reinforcing the enveloping design of the armchair. As a result, the Niemeyer II combines artistic expression with exceptional comfort.
Thanks to its refined aesthetic, this modern armchair works perfectly as a lounge chair in luxury hotels and chalets. It also stands out as a distinctive design piece in creative residential interiors.
